More Beetles!

Yep I finally am starting to get more new beetles again, soon I can start making more beetle videos!

I'll keep this up as a Beetle Count Journal.

Once I get this Colony going into the 100 Mark I plan to start another "Over-Feeding Challenge" but this time as a General Video Series! That's right longer videos are coming soon!

I already need to upgrade the beetle colony soon, they just grow and eat so much food! I need to do lots of feeding! I'll make sure to get at least a few videos up when I do these things!



I have a feeling this next Beetle Generation is going to be the largest Colony of Insects I've ever had.... just the sheer amount of pupae I'm getting and the fact I still have so many mealworms left in the main bin. Not to mention the smaller mealworms that are in the growing bin! I definitely didn't think that they would get this big of a colony at all!

I'm already getting larvae from this colony now! I've still got plenty of larger larvae that are pupating and even more beetles being hatched every week

Sorry I haven't been updating much lately, been very busy! Here is the latest video I made of the Colony:

As you can tell from the video lots of beetles, and in fact lots of new baby mealworms from them as well! I've probably hit a point where I should just see a big jump in Populations soon. It's been a long road to get here but I finally think in Winter 2016 I can start doing some serious Over-Feeding Challenges, and stuff. I'll write up more about that in a different Blog Post though.

The Beetles are doing great and I've been seeing a few [not many] new beetles lately, so it's still going
