Day#1- November 7/2015
Fed colony 20 Pieces of Cat food

Total: 20 P.I.C.

Fed the Colony a few carrots [3] so I'll add that to the List!

More video on the way tonight as well, I'll try to get one each time I feed the Colony, which should be every 3 or so days, since I want to ensure they are well fed

Day#7- November 14/2015
Fed colony 2 carrots and 10 more pieces of dog food

Total: 35 P.I.C.

We are slowly getting there, better then what I thought, they have been eating constantly!

Super sorry guys, been awhile I've been feeding the Colony non-stop, they just won't quit eating!

I will try to get more updates, and pictures for the blog in the future!!!!!

Tomorrow [or today if you want to be technical!] I plan to feed the colony another 4 Carrots. I've been slacking on it for a bit

I have fed the colony 8 carrots and another 25 Pieces of Dog food [they have been eating tons lately!]

Fed the colony 5 more Carrots yesterday and another 10 Pieces of Dog food [which will last them maybe 3 days :LOL: ] I'll probably be feeding every second day!

Since the last update I've fed the Colony 8 more Carrots, and about 15 pieces of dog food.

Sorry guys, really busy time of the year, fed the colony about 25 more pieces of dog food and about 10 more carrots since the last update!

Fed the beetles 3 more carrots soon they will need more dog food as well

I've noticed that some of the beetle population has sadly died [it's nature though they are really old beetles] so I've cleaned out their bin, and now just have the live beetles in this Colony. I'm hoping in the next few weeks or so I'll have more beetles hatching out so I can get another big [this colony still remains big, but just not as big as it used to be] beetle bin.

I've also fed them some more cat food 21 Pieces.

I have decided to continue this experiment into 2016! At least for the Winter!

It's been awhile since my last update, I've been feeding them on average carrots every 2-3 days. So that would be around 15 more Carrots since last time, as well as around 20+ more pieces of cat food [in which they are in need of more!]

I fed the colony another 2 carrots and a piece of cucumber.

I'm thinking about cutting it off soon, since my beetles are starting to die off sadly, it's a natural process. I promise I'll bring something else to the Mealworm blog when I take this "project" down

Well I've decided to "Close" this Over-Feeding Challenge, this colony is just about to "Crash" and I have had bad experience in the past with "continuing Over-Feeding Challenges when I know a Colony is going to Crash. It was a great run though and it lasted exactly as long as I wanted it to! Of Course we never hit our 1000 Goal, but I may have set the bar a little high for this one

Still with a Grand Total of 240 Pieces in Counting they did pretty good for our First Over-Feeding Challenge on the Blog. I won't "Archive" This topic just lock it.
