Mealworm vs Cucumber August 2015! [Discontinued]

I haven't finished this project yet but I thought I'd at least share what I am doing and then post pictures when it's all said and done! Going with my "Time-Lapse Slide-Show theme" (which I need to remake for TMB [The Mealworm Blog] ) I have fed my Colony a Cucumber, with most of the skin peeled off. It seems to be taking a lot longer then the Potato experiment did but I'm confident that it will be done here in a week or so [It's a very Large Cucumber]

While I'm not done with the Time-Lapse here are some pictures of the process thus far. I may end it in a week if nothing major changes. I might have "thrown in more then they could eat"

It has definitely been taking a lot longer then I had anticipated. As per usual I have bitten off more then I [or rather my Mealworms] could chew. I will give it another few days but then I have to give up, because it is starting to "decompose".

I ended up taking this down, the mealworms just didn't eat it fast enough.
